Tradewinds’ Fan Coil Units embrace the latest design and technology to provide a super quiet and compact solution for climatic control in the superyacht industry. We’ve listened to the engineers, captains, owners and after years of design development have come up with what we believe to be the most advanced fan coil unit on the market.
We’ve oversized the fans, then slowed them down to deliver the required airflow at a fraction of the decibel signature. We’ve also installed a honeycomb baffle on the suction side of the fan. This lowers the decibels by up to 6dB.
We upgraded the standard ½” drain to ¾” allowing them to drain away more easily and not get blocked.
Our quick release hoses and washable filters make maintenance much more efficient and the easy removal of the complete fan coil unit means no mess. The fan is very easy to clean and we included hygienic closed cell insulation in the fan chamber.
Our extensive range of fan coil units are available in numerous sizes, from 6000BTU to 24000BTU. They are carefully designed to operate in even the most hazardous of environments, with composite fans, corrosion resistant protection on the coils and stainless steel casing.
